About Justin Firestone

Experienced Private Aviation Leader

 

As managing director of Firestone Management Group, a boutique advisory for organizations in the private aviation space, Justin Firestone draws on nearly two decades of experience in the industry. He began working in private flight services as director of sports marketing for Sentient Jet, having previously served for close to 10 years as a media relations professional for athletic organizations. During that time, Justin Firestone worked with the National Basketball Association's Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat as well as the National Football League.

After getting to know the industry through Sentient Jet, Justin Firestone accepted a position as senior vice president of Marquis Jet. In 2007, he relocated to China to found and serve as CEO of Asia Jet, a subsidiary of the HNA Group. Mr. Firestone went on to apply his expertise in the Asia Pacific market as president of Textron Aviation subsidiary Hawker Beechcraft Corporation.

Mr. Firestone founded his eponymous advisory group in 2011 and joined private jet rental group Wheels Up as a co-founder the following year. In 2013, he participated in the acquisition of 105 King Air 350i aircraft, the largest order ever placed in the aviation industry. Ranked on the shortlist of Elite Traveler magazine's Leaders in Luxury, he serves his community as part of the Florida governor's Council of 100 business advisors.
